Week 48 - Our neighbourhood

We love where we live. The coastline, the greenbelts, the parks and ponds....there's definitely something to be said for our little slice of paradise. There are still areas waiting to be developed once the housing market picks up again, and I wanted to capture what it's like now, because things change fast, and who knows what it'll be like in another 5-10 years.

Saw those pics you posted. Sounds like a nice place. It's hard to find someone who admires his neighborhood amidst all these concrete apartments. So bland! Good for you! BYE.

I really love how you add a picture in the background of most of your pages here. I would love to learn how to do that. Is it just a full 12x12 picture you add in the background?? Somehow I don't think so. These are all lovely layouts.

Christina, my camera only takes 7 megapixel photos, which is not quite big enough to stretch across a 12x12 page. I have to stitch 3-4 photos together to get the panoramic result. Knowing that I have space for a panoramic photo on my layout, means I intentionally take several shots of the scenery that week. I have to kind of plan ahead a little otherwise I forget to do it.
