A new approach to Project 365 for 2010 - Week 1

I really enjoyed doing Project 365 last year, and wanted to do it again this year but out of necessity had to change it up a little. I have so many other projects I want to do this year as well, that I had to find a way to simplify P365 in order to make it less time consuming. The scrapping part of it anyway. Enter stage right, Biograffiti's P365 Simple Solution Templates. How perfect. I knew as soon as I saw them that that was the way I wanted to go. I was lucky enough to win the January pack on her blog, and couldn't wait to scrap with them.



They're also available in 8.5x11 size too.

I quite like that she provides a journalling prompt with each template set. Last year I just wrote a small caption/story about each photo, but having thought about it now, I quite like the idea of a running commentary about whatever theme is going on that week. Something a bit more flowing. I think journalling is essential (for me anyway), and I'm excited to share a little bit more about our family life, dreams and aspirations on this years Project 365. I've had a lot of fun doing this project. The variety of kits/styles and templates I've used has kept me excited the whole way through, and at no stage have I contemplated not finishing it. I actually think I'm about a week short since I didn't start right on 1 Jan 2009, but since I'm going to be doing a 365 album for 2010 too, I don't think it really matters.
