Week 8 - Our Home

OK, I know I've got week nine on my layout. I wasn't thinking straight. Trust me that it will be changed before I print the pages. So.....week EIGHT....

I love our home. It totally suits our family and our lifestyle. It's in a quiet street, we have nice neighbours (and none on one side - that's even better), and we face the water, which makes for relaxing views. What I love about our home even more is described more fully in the quote I found on the internet. It's filled with love. It's a haven. It's where we spend time together. It's where we share our love....

Week 7 - How we show our love

I liked this theme as soon as someone suggested it to me. It has so many options for photo taking. There's the obvious demonstrations of love (hugs, kisses, kind words etc), and then there's the more subtle ones that often go unnoticed because they're simply part of who you are and what you do. Things like: Hubby cooking dinner (without being asked) one night for no other reason than just to give me a break; my parents coming to pick up the girls for a sleep over, even though it's a long drive and I said I could bring them down; my youngest cuddling her teddy and blankie, her most loved possessions; seeing my girls play happily together and the older one being patient and accommodating toward her younger sister. I really enjoyed looking out for photo opportunities this week, and I found so many more than I thought I would.
